More Us americans than ever before are hitched to somebody of the various race—but it’s more prevalent in a few places than the others.

Fifty years following the U.S. Supreme Court hit down regulations against interracial wedding, interracial partners are far more typical than ever before before—especially in towns and cities.

That’s a finding from the report that is new the Pew Research Center studying the state of interracial wedding today. Overall, there’s been a dramatic upsurge in interracial wedding. In 2015, ten percent of most hitched Americans were married to somebody of a race that is different ethnicity. Continue reading
